From Fez, travel through the Middle Atlas Mountains, the cedar forests of Azrou and the spectacular Ziz Valley toward Merzouga and the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi. Experience the desert by 4x4, visit Khamlia and a nomadic settlement, ride camels into the dunes and spend the night in a luxury desert camp beneath the stars.

Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, you will be welcomed by our team with a sign displaying the name VITA MOROCCO and transferred directly to your hotel. Depending on your arrival time, you will have free time to explore Casablanca, Morocco's economic capital and a city where modern life blends with the country's historic heritage. You can explore the city's main avenues and neighborhoods and visit the spectacular Hassan II Mosque, one of the most impressive architectural landmarks in the Muslim world. Other optional places of interest include the Habous Quarter, with its traditional architecture, the Corniche overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, and the historic medina. After breakfast, begin a guided tour of Chefchaouen, one of Morocco's most picturesque destinations. Discover its famous blue streets, whitewashed houses, turquoise doors, wrought-iron windows and traditional architecture. Enjoy time at a local café terrace with views toward the Tarik-Ben-Ziad Mosque and explore the kasbah in the center of the medina. Discover local traditions and handicrafts, including the famous djellaba, basketry and pottery, before exploring the lively souk. Around 8:00 AM, your driver/guide will pick you up from your hotel or Riad in Fez. Today you will travel toward the Sahara Desert, passing through Ifrane, often known as the "Moroccan Switzerland." Continue to the Cedar Forest, where you can stop to observe the Barbary macaques among the trees. The journey continues through the Middle Atlas Mountains and the spectacular Ziz Valley, one of the great palm-filled oases of southern Morocco. Continue toward Erfoud, famous for its fossils and fossil workshops, before arriving in Merzouga, at the gateway to the Sahara. Upon arrival, enjoy some free time to discover the local villages and surroundings. You may also choose to take an optional quad excursion through the Erg Chebbi dunes to enjoy the desert sunset. After breakfast, depart toward Khamlia, a village whose population includes descendants of people from Mali and which is famous for its traditional Gnawa musicians. Enjoy a small Gnawa music performance before continuing by 4x4 around the Erg Chebbi dunes. Explore the desert landscapes surrounding the Great Dune of Morocco and travel along tracks associated with the historic Paris-Dakar route. Stop at a panoramic viewpoint overlooking the Erg Chebbi dunes and discover the old khol mines and abandoned Berber and French settlements.Continue to a nomadic settlement, where you will learn about traditional desert life, customs and daily routines. Then travel to Rissani to explore its authentic market, where nomads and residents from surrounding villages gather to buy and sell goods. You may also have the opportunity to taste the region's famous Berber pizza. Afterward, return to Merzouga, where you will leave the vehicle and mount your dromedaries for a journey into the desert. Ride through the golden dunes and enjoy a magical Sahara sunset before continuing to your luxury desert camp. Wake early for the opportunity to watch the sunrise from the top of a dune. Afterward, return to the hotel by camel and enjoy breakfast and a refreshing shower. Continue toward Erfoud, famous for its fossil quarries and workshops. The region is known for fossils dating back hundreds of millions of years, which local artisans use to create a variety of decorative objects. Continue toward the spectacular Todra Gorges, a favorite destination for hikers and climbers. Enjoy free time to walk between the towering canyon walls and, depending on conditions, enjoy the refreshing surroundings near the river. Continue toward the Dades Valley, following the famous Route of a Thousand Kasbahs. Travel through the Valley of Roses, where local communities produce creams, soaps and the famous Moroccan rose water from locally cultivated roses. Dinner and overnight in a charming mountain hotel near the Dades River.
Continue through the spectacular Dades Gorges, following the river through landscapes of unusual geological formations, abandoned kasbahs, Berber villages and lush gardens. Continue toward Ouarzazate, where you will enjoy a panoramic view of Taourirt Kasbah. Known as the Hollywood of Morocco, Ouarzazate is home to famous film studios where numerous international movies have been filmed. If you are interested in cinema, you may visit the studios. Approximately 30 kilometers from Ouarzazate, visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy time with a local guide to explore the fortified village, walk through its narrow streets and climb to the top for spectacular views over the surrounding valley. In the afternoon, continue across the High Atlas Mountains, crossing the Tizi n'Tichka Pass at approximately 2,260 meters above sea level. Make stops along the way to enjoy the dramatic mountain landscapes and traditional villages. Arrive in Marrakech, where you can spend the evening discovering the magical atmosphere of Jemaa el-Fna. Around 9:30 AM, your local guide will meet you at your Riad or hotel for a full-day exploration of Marrakech. Begin around Jemaa el-Fna, the city's famous central square, known for its juice stalls, dried fruit vendors, henna artists, storytellers and lively food stalls. Depending on your interests and available time, visit the Majorelle Garden, famous for its distinctive blue color, and the Secret Garden, a traditional Islamic garden supplied by water from the Atlas Mountains.
Continue to the Koutoubia Mosque, Marrakech's iconic landmark. Non-Muslim visitors cannot enter the mosque, but you can admire the exterior and surrounding gardens. Continue to Bahia Palace, the Ben Youssef Madrasa and the Saadian Tombs. Explore the traditional souks, where you will find leather workshops, metalworkers, lamps, carpets and traditional Berber textiles. You may also discover the historic Mellah, Marrakech's former Jewish quarter. At the end of the tour, your guide will accompany you back to your Riad. Overnight in Marrakech.
